The La Cala Charity Tables bid farewell to the summer season with a positive balance. The stalls were set up on the last Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 19 to 22 to avoid the hottest hours in July and August in summer. A timetable that has proved to be “a success”, according to the Foreigners’ Department Councillor, Arancha López (Cs). “There have been many associations carrying out charitable work in our municipality that have taken advantage of these solidarity tables. The truth is that we are very pleased to offer this service on behalf of Foreigners so that they can raise funds and at the same time get to know each other and collaborate. Alessandra Roselli, from the Domino shelter, also assured that “yes, a lot of people have come, and we have sold out, so it has been positive, despite the heat experienced, but that is normal. That is why we are grateful for this summer timetable”. So, charity tables will return to the morning schedule: the last Wednesdays and Saturdays of each month from 11 to 14.
