Mijas begins the search for its next king and queen of the fair. As announced by the Department of Festivities, from Wednesday, 10th August, the registration period will open for the King, Queen, and Court of Honour of the Mijas Pueblo Fair, which will take place from 6th to 11th September.

Young people between 16 and 30 years old, registered in Mijas who have not won any other previous competition can apply for this contest. To register, those interested should go to Las Lagunas and La Cala Mayor's offices or to the Mijas Pueblo Town Hall through the general registry until 25th August.

The election of the King, Queen of the Fair, and Court of Honour of MijasPueblo Fair 2022 will take place on 6th September from 10:30 pm in the Municipal Fair Stand. The jury's decision will be announced at the end of the gala.

Senior Citizen’s Dinner

On the other hand, we would like to remind you that registration is now open for the dinner in honour of the Senior Citizens, which will take place in the Municipal Stand on 7th September. Those interested should collect their tickets at the Mijas Pueblo Pensioners' Home until Friday, 12th August, from 9 am to 2 pm.
