An event full of fun and magic is back this summer: the Town Circus. During August, and free of charge, the circus stars will visit the three Mijas centres to resume a tradition that the COVID pandemic has conditioned in recent years. Acrobatics, juggling, magic tricks, and many surprises await us in a special event organised by the Youth Department of the Town Hall.

It will be on the 4th of August in Las Lagunas, the 12th in Mijas Pueblo and the 18th of August in La Cala, at ten o'clock at night each session. It was informed today by the Mijas Youth Councillor, Tamara Vera (PSOE). Specifically, "the different sessions will take place in the María Zambrano Park in Las Lagunas, in the Virgen de la Peña Square in Mijas Pueblo, and in the Torreón Square in La Cala de Mijas". A show " thought especially for the enjoyment of all families, young and old", Vera added.

That is why the Mayor has invited all residents who wish to attend these free shows "with which we seek to bring culture and urban art to families to enjoy outdoor sessions".

An open-air town circus that promises to delight young and old, and will recover the magic we should never have lost.
