With careful and exquisite staging, the renowned show of the pianist and composer David Gómez returns to Mijas. This time, it will be at the 'Paseo del Compás' in Mijas Pueblo, where the artist will show his originality, charm and magic. This special event will be next Friday, 8th July, from 10 pm.
The Mijas Town Hall's Culture Department is organising this magical event. "We continue to promote access to culture with outdoor activities such as this prestigious show," said the Councillor for the area, Verónica Ensberg (PSOE). "With these initiatives," continued the Councillor, "we place Mijas as a cultural and leisure reference thanks to a diverse and quality programme for all audiences".
A show that has, according to the Culture Department, "a dreamy, authentic, emotional, unpredictable and overflowing of surprises nature. Under the starry sky and by candlelight, Gómez's live performances, like his music and sound, are powerful and quality. When the composer sits down at the piano, it is a heavenly experience, dazzling in the pleasure and dedication he transmits when playing and in the intimate, sensitive and spiritual connection with which his music touches the heart.
The concert tour '1 piano and 200 candles' was born for lovers of quality music in romantic and unusual locations: lighthouses, ruined churches, cemeteries, abandoned buildings, train stations, historical ruins, or beaches. And after passing through La Cala, now it is the turn of El Compás.
