Mijas Town Hall informs that the Mijas Road (A-387) will be closed to traffic on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of May due to asphalting and painting work on the sections where the two new roundabouts are being built.

Specifically, access to traffic will be prohibited on the stretch from the AP-7 to the Aldi roundabout, from eight in the morning to seven in the evening. On 18th May, the road will be closed in the downhill direction to Fuengirola, on 19th, and 20th May, the road will be closed alternately depending on the work to be done.

As an option, vehicles will be able to exit towards the dual carriageway, the exit towards Fuengirola, or via the Los Boliches and Muebles Benítez accesses. According to the Traffic Department, it will be made as easy as possible for those establishments on the left side as they are one of the municipality arteries. The City Council apologises for any inconvenience that these cuts may cause.
