The Entrerríos municipal hostel will come back during White Week, from 28th to 5th March. As a preventive measure against COVID-19, there will be no overnight stays and children will be taken by bus. The shift is extended one more day, until Saturday, and children from 4 to 14 years old will participate. The offer is also extended to families with functional diversity children. "This season, we start with great enthusiasm and with the hostel fully adapted and prepared to welcome our children who are eager to spend the White Week with us," said the Area Councillor responsible, Natalia Martinez (PSOE).
As a novelty, in this edition, the proposal extends from Monday to Saturday. It is only offered in the day shift to preserve the safety distance with small groups or bubbles as a preventive measure. The timetable will be from 9 am to 6 pm and includes transport from the three population centres, lunch, snacks and all the activities at the hostel, such as animal care, vegetable garden, sports, workshops and social activities. "We provide bus service, canteen and snacks. The hostel will offer 100 places, with bubble groups of 10 children of the same age to follow the COVID-19 sanitary measures. In addition, we are outdoors, in the middle of nature, and we are sure they will have a fun week," added Martínez.
The timetable will be from 9 am to 6 pm and includes transport from the three population centres, lunch, snacks and all the hostel's activities.
Registration opens on February 14th, and the 100 places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can be collected at the office of the Department, located in Las Lagunas Theatre, as well as in La Cala public libraries and Mijas Pueblo. The established price for the week is 54 euros for registered residents.
