The Regional Blood Transfusion Centre in Malaga has appealed to increase the number of blood donations due to the drop in donations over the Christmas holidays. The people of Mijas will find it easier to increase donations, as on Wednesday next week, the 19th of January, it will be possible to donate blood at the Cultural Centre in Las Lagunas, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. With this gesture, dozens of patients will be able to save their lives in Malaga's hospitals, as, despite scientific advances, blood cannot be manufactured and donation is the only way to give a transfusion.

Remember that you must not have donated blood more than three times in the last year if you are a woman, or four times if you are a man and that two months must pass between each donation. People between 18 and 65 years of age, over 50 kilos, and in good health conditions can donate.
