The Mijas Local Police have reported this week on actions carried out in recent days, among which is the intervention in an alleged occupation of a house in the neighbourhood of El Juncal in Las Lagunas.
After receiving the notice in the operational room, on Friday, December 17th, officers from the Neighbourhood Unit went to the scene and found that, minutes before, several individuals had gained unauthorised access to the dwelling. According to the police, a small quantity of heroin was also found during the external body search of those identified.
The agents located the owner of the house to inform him of everything that had happened, and also opened proceedings against the perpetrators for the alleged offences of usurpation and possession of narcotic substances. It seems that the individuals also had numerous criminal records, according to the police.
Illegal cannabis club
On the other hand, the agents of the Intervention Unit (Charlie) together with a group of undercover policemen of the Fuengirola National Police, carried out an inspection of a catering establishment in Las Lagunas which, allegedly, lacked an opening licence.
On entering the establishment, the officers observed a group of people without masks and without respecting the sanitary safety distances. They also found that the establishment was operating as an illegal cannabis smoking club, so they proceeded to identify the person in charge, seizing various narcotic substances and filing a report for the offences committed.
