The Social Services area has opened, until September 30th, the period for applying for aid to people with functional diversity in 2021. In total, some 250 families from Mijas will benefit from this call, which has a municipal investment of 525,000 euros and seeks to alleviate the costs that therapies and other expenses derived from the attention requiered by residents with some type of disability entail for families.
Among the requirements to apply for these grants are having a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%, being registered in the municipality and that the income per capita of the members of the family unit to which the applicant belongs is not higher than 2.5 times the current monthly IPREM.
Interested persons can formalize their registration in the general registry offices, in the auxiliary registries of the Social Services area of the Mijas Town Hall or in any of the forms established in Law 39/2015, of October 1st, on the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public administrations.
