The Operative Services department has invested 146,495 euros in the installation of nine intelligent pedestrian crossings with LED technology that, in turn, will provide pictograms to facilitate the crossing of persons with autism spectrum disorders. These pedestrian crossings, whose installation has already begun, will be added to those already existing on Camino de Coín and Camino del Albero. This type of horizontal signaling works by means of an LED lighting system, so that when a person approaches the road to cross the street, the sensors detect him or her and switch on to warn vehicles that are approaching on the road.
