Over the weekend, the index fell by almost 80 points, reaching 613 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of confirmed positives in our municipality has risen to 6,430, while that of persons cured has increased to 5,246.

As for the surrounding municipalities, Estepona and Marbella manage to drop below 1,000 cases although these days they will continue with the curfew established by the 'Junta de Andalucía'. Fuengirola has registered 705 cases, while Torremolinos and Benalmádena have reached 805 and 866 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The provincial average also drops slightly to 823 cases.
