The incidence rate in Mijas drops for the second day and stands at 676

This slight improvement in the data is also seen in surrounding towns such as Marbella (986 cases), Benalmádena (760) and Fuengirola (622)

For the second day, Mijas has experienced a slight drop in its incidence rate, from 681.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants yesterday to 676.8 this Thursday. In the last 24 hours, 46 new positives have been recorded in our municipality, while another 25 people have confirmed that they have overcome the virus.

This slight improvement in the data can also be seen in surrounding towns such as Marbella, which once again fell below 1,000 cases (986.9), as well as Benalmádena, which fell to 760.7 or Fuengirola, which reduced its rate by 27 points (622.9).

The province of Malaga maintains a similar rate to yesterday, registering 717.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. For its part, Andalusia increases its average incidence very slightly, from 433 to 434 cases, although today Thursday it has recorded 2,949 new positives and 13 deaths, three of them in our province.
