From July 15th to 18th, Mijas will become the epicenter of theatre in Malaga with a programme for all tastes.

“Mijas dresses up to welcome this festival that is so long awaited within the cultural programming of our municipality and also of the province. As is already characteristic, humour cannot be lacking in a truly luxurious programme that will feature four shows”, affirms the councillor for Culture, Verónica Ensberg (PSOE). Written by Alejandro Melero and directed by Isidro Romero and Paco Rodríguez, it is a comedy about people helping others to be a little happier.

On Saturday, July 18th, the auditorium will host a national premiere with the monologues of La Cochera Producciones and the actors in the series ‘Deudas’ Salva Reina, Miguel Ángel Martín and Pedro Ángel. To close this edition, and direct from the Malaga Festival, ‘Maestrissimo’, a show by the Yllana company that mixes chamber music, satire comedy and period portraiture. The shows will begin at 20:30 hours and admission is free with limited capacity, with around 500 seats available, and anti-COVID measures in place, "so that culture remains safe". Also, to avoid crowds, the doors of the Municipal Auditorium will open at 20 hours.
