The incidence rate in Mijas exceeds the barrier of 600 cases and stands at 606.6. It is also rising in the surrounding municipalities: Marbella (955.1), Benalmádena (581.4) and Fuengirola (567.4) are some examples of the upward trend that is being experienced throughout the country. In the case of Andalusia, it goes from 298.1 to 314.1 and in the province from 482.2 to 510.9. During the last seven days, 262 positives have been registered in Mijas. The total number of contagions in the municipality since the beginning of the pandemic is 5,609 and that of persons cured 4,899. The number of deaths has remained stable at 41 since April in Mijas.
