A few weeks ago, Soroptimist International Costa del Sol simultaneously organised four groups of independent dialogues under the title ‘Nurture your optimism’ at La Noria of the Provincial Council in Malaga, in Seville and at the Soroptimist International Costa del Sol headquarters in Mijas Costa, thus contributing to the traditional United Nations Summit on Food Systems to be held next September in New York.

Following the initial success, the association has organised the II Dialogue ‘Nurture your Optimism’. This is an event that will be held ‘online’ on July 13th from 18 hours and can be followed in Spanish and English.

Professionals related to the world of food production and consumption can participate in this talk. In order to do so, all those persons interested can register by sending an email to soroptimist.fsd@gmail.com.
Independent Dialogues

Thanks to these dialogues, different groups of between six and eight participants discuss topics such as climate change, food waste, local agriculture, sales and transport, the Mediterranean diet, healthy nutrition and sustainable production. The conclusions of these talks will be sent to be included for analysis in the United Nations Summit, which seeks to create awareness among global public opinion and enter into short-term commitments.
