Over 1000 euros was raised for diabetes awareness on September 7th

The Summer Fair took place last Sunday in the park La Butibamba in La Cala

On Sunday 2nd they will show the clothes they have in their solidarity shops at La Butibamba park

The social collective will also allocate these funds to tests for early care and child and youth care

Daniela Wenk was the promoter of the initiative, in which 22 local businesses participated and donated prizes for the raffle

The Town Hall is grateful for the work of these associations, NGOs and groups in favour of those most in need

The aim of the charity event was to raise funds for those most in need and, on this occasion, 3,000 euros were raised

Caritas, the Diabetic Group of Mijas, Alzheimer's patients and schools in the municipality will be some of the beneficiaries of this charity event

The group holds regular meetings where they test the glucose levels of the residents

The objective was to raise funds and detect possible diabetics as they carried out free blood glucose tests.

The party featured live performances, food, and drinks typical of the United Kingdom

The Foreigners Department is also collaborating in the event that will take place in La Butibamba Park

David Key is the person chosen to lead that association for the next year
