The Mijas Arts Centre inaugurated ‘Dreaming on Silk’, a new exhibition by Corinne Marguerite, on Wednesday 6th. The artist, who has a long association with the centre and was trained by one of its founders, presents a body of work on silk in which she “combines colour, intuition and a holistic artistic sensibility, opening the door to a poetic and luminous universe, filled with imagination, delicacy and soul”, according to the centre. Marguerite is also well known at the centre for her creative workshops aimed at children, “where she shares her joyful world of marionettes and artistic expression”.

The exhibition can be visited until the 13th of May. During the exhibition’s opening hours, Corinne will be present in the gallery, offering visitors the chance to talk to her about her work.
