Soroptimist International Costa del Sol, in collaboration with the Road to Glory Club in Fuengirola, is organising a self-defence seminar for women to be held on the 11th of April, from 10 to 13 hours, at the club’s premises on Calle Villanueva del Trabuco3, Los Boliches (Fuengirola).

According to a press release from Soroptimist, the seminar covers “the basic skills every woman needs to feel safer”. The instructor, Miguel Ángel Trujillo, is a highly qualified professional, accredited as a self-defence trainer by the Ministry of the Interior, with extensive experience in these workshops, martial arts, and coaching. For Soroptimist, “this seminar is essential to complete the empowerment of women in today’s world”. The maximum capacity is 15 women, although further courses will be organised depending on demand.

The association wishes to express its gratitude to the instructor for offering his services free of charge. All proceeds will go to the association and will be invested in local projects.
