The Mijas Grand Park begins its final load, capacity and safety tests this weekend, ahead of its official opening, with the fifth stage of the 2025 Pickle Pro Tour. The event will bring together 146 athletes to compete in a discipline of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation that has previously visited Malaga, Barcelona and Alcobendas, among other Spanish cities.
On Thursday 6th and Friday 7th of November, the Lew Hoad tennis and padel club hosts the group stage of the various Pro division categories, as well as all matches in the Talent category. The semi-finals and finals will take place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of November in the area prepared for this purpose at the Mijas Grand Park.
Entrance will be via the main access next to La Morena, limiting entry to the sports area where the matches will take place. Access to other areas of the Grand Park will not be permitted, in line with the load tests carried out by Mijas Town Hall.
With the three essential contracts (gardening, maintenance and security) for the commissioning of the infrastructure, covering 270,000 square metres and will make it the largest urban park in Andalusia, already awarded, these load tests are the final step before its official opening.
The competition
