With the aim of enlivening late summer evenings, El Charcón Beach Bar in Mijas will once again host the CalaPop Weekend 2025 festival, featuring top-class performances right on the sand. “In June we held a party to welcome the summer, and now we are staging this festival once again to see it off in style”, said the event’s director, Antonio Sánchez.

Tickets
CalaPop Weekend 2025 will be held at El Charcón Beach, Café Teatro and Disco Maxy. Tickets are already on sale, and there is also a 'fila zero' option, allowing people to make a donation even if they cannot attend, in aid of PAD Mijas, the domestic animal shelter in Mijas. "It's a charity project, and we'll be donating all proceeds to PAD Mijas, which does incredible work rescuing dogs and cats here in the area. Everything we raise [after covering expenses] will go directly to them", said the event director.
"Capacity is limited to around 400 people. Tickets and vouchers are now available, and we recommend buying them in advance before they sell out, plus they’re cheaper if purchased early", who also reminded the public will also be available for the event, departing from Málaga and Fuengirola.
International atmosphere
According to the organisers, CalaPop attracts visitors from far and wide and always offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. "Children are also welcome, and admission is free for them. It's going to be a very wholesome and fun event, and I'm sure everyone who comes will have a great time", added Sánchez.
