The 'Asociación Mijeña de Amistad con el Pueblo Saharaui' (Mijas Association of Friendship with the Saharawi People) has launched a new aid campaign to send food to the Sahrawi population in the refugee camps in Tindouf, Algeria. The procedure is very simple, people who wish to do so should contact them on 644 081 252 or send an email to sahara.malaga@yahoo.es and they will provide all the information.

The initiative is part of the ‘Caravans for Peace’ programme, which every year collects thousands of kilos of food and humanitarian aid in Spain for the Saharawi camps. Following the requests of the government and the Sahrawi Red Crescent, the collective regularly seeks the necessary services to try to improve the living conditions of these refugees.
