The Regional Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training, through the Andalusian Public Agency for Education, has published the tender for the extension works of the Secondary School Torre Almenara inLa Cala de Mijas, for an amount of 267,416 euros and an expected completion period of four months from the start of the works. Bids from interested companies can be submitted until the 6th of March.

The work will consist of expanding the spaces in the centre in order to meet the existing schooling demand. To this end, two new multi-purpose classrooms are to be built, with capacity for 60 school places, and an intercommunication corridor over the 200 square metre porch that currently joins the main building and the gymnasium.

This action is part of the Educational Infrastructure Plan of the Regional Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training, which is implemented through the Andalusian Public Agency for Education.
