During this week, the Trade Fairs and Congress Centre of Malaga is hosting the Innovation Summit for the hospitality industry, an essential annual event for professionals in the hotel, catering, tourism and ancillary industries. Taking advantage of this event, the All Stars group, a benchmark in the promotion of gastronomic tourism, wanted to begin the celebration of its tenth anniversary by choosing the twenty-five best chefs in Andalusia, among which are five people from Mijas.
Esteban Sedeño, from ConFusion; Fran Peinado, from Alboka; Lupe Rodríguez, from El Panal de la Reina; Mathew Lee, from Mardi Group, and Salvio Cantón, from La Catedral, have been the awarded chefs who have received the Special Edition Red Jacket, which they give in collaboration with AUA Pure Water, for standing out in "their commitment to the values of gastronomic honesty, customer service and sustainability". The jacket also recognises their career, commitment to the product, gastronomic tradition, innovation, values of comradeship and customer service.
