Father Christmas and his village visited the three centres of Mijas to collect all the letters. The Department of Festivities and Traditions was in charge of contacting Father Christmas to ask him to make a previous stop in our municipality, so on Friday and Saturday the elves set up their village in La Cala and Mijas Pueblo, respectively, and on Monday in Las Lagunas.

During the different days, the councillor for the department, Silvia Marín (PP), was also present and told us that the children, once again this year, had been very good, so they will surely receive all the presents they have asked for. “Children sometimes set an example for adults and we must learn from them, so let’s take advantage of this month, which is the month of the child and the month of the family, to learn from the innocence of children, and with that in mind, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and festivities”, said Marín.
