One of the most eagerly awaited moments of the festivities in La Cala is the inauguration of the daytime fair, which is held at the Torreon square. The festivities next to the beach have started at 13:00 hours, and during the day, there will be performances by the Rompeolas orchestra, and at 17 hours by the Musica band from the province of Málaga, Alejados. The daytime fair will close at 20:00 to give way to the activities at the fairgrounds. 

The Municipal Booth will open its doors at 21:00 hours with a special event for children. The little ones will be able to enjoy a giant bubble show and the children's king and queen election contest will be held with animation. Children must register before the beginning of the contest. The election by drawing lots and crowning will take place at 22:00. 

For the grown-ups, the most outstanding performance of the night will begin at 23:00 with the Rock and Roll Star festival, and the performances by Javier Ojeda from Danza Invisible and Manuel España from La Guardia. At 1:00 hour will be the turn of the Joker Rock Band, who will put an end to Friday night's festivities. Both concerts are free entry until full capacity is reached.
