There are only nine days left to enjoy the La Cala Fair 2024, and the seaside town is already preparing to celebrate the big days. The first official date for these festivities will be Thursday 18th, at 22 hours in the Torreon Square, where Dolores Arroyo will give the opening speech that will mark the beginning of these festivities. 

Dolores, also known as Lola, has always been involved in the life of this town, and her family has also been strongly committed to the social and cultural initiatives in La Cala, promoting many of them, especially those related to young people. But if there is one thing that stands out for the town crier, it is her dedication to solidarity causes, without forgetting the affection she feels for the festivities in La Cala. 

In addition to the opening speech, the poster illustrating the fair, designed by Mijas Comunicación, will be officially presented during the event. The mayoress of the municipality, Ana Mata, and the councillor for Festivities and Traditions, Silvia Marín, will also announce the programme planned for this celebration, which will take place from the 24th to 28th of July. The day will also be enlivened by the dance group of La Cala UP, led by Víctor Rojas.
