The Mijas Town Hall has informed residents that, on the occasion of the Las Lagunas Fair, the Miguel Hernández avenue, from the crossing with María Zambrano avenue to the crossing with Ampa Las Caracolas avenue, and several surrounding streets, will be closed to traffic on 26, 27 and 28 June for installation work from 8:00 hours until the end of the works, while on the 29th and 30th of June it will be closed from 11:00 to 22:00 hours approximately for the day fair. It will also be closed on the 2nd of July from 8:00 hours for dismantling work until the end of the fair. The traffic alternative for the Miguel Hernández and María Zambrano road will be Antonio Machado street, while for the Ampa Las Caracolas road it will be Las Lagunas avenue and Río Guaro street.

Similarly, these days there will be a partial closure of the streets Río Guadarranque and Juan Ramón Jiménez, with access only for residents.  It is also worth mentioning that during the period of the closures, the direction of Calle Juan Ramón Jiménez will be reversed. 

The Town Hall also informed that in Calle Goya traffic will remain open with extreme caution on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June, while on the 29th and 30th of June it will remain open from 22:00 to 11:00 hours.
