The Mijas Book Fair will be held from the 17th to the 19th of May in the boulevard of La Cala, there will be 15 stands and more than 30 activities with books as the main protagonist intended for all types of public and ages. Among these activities there will be presentations by writers, a street parade, a solidarity book collection, a reading area and a meeting between students and Bobby, the police dog. 

Among others, the writer Miguel Ruiz Montañez, author of numerous books translated into twenty languages, will join the event on Saturday 18 at 18:00 hours and will sign copies of his new book ‘Donde nace el cielo’ (Where the sky is born). 

As Juan Carlos Maldonado, Councillor for Culture of Mijas Town Hall explained, ‘to have such a renowned author as Miguel Ruiz is a real luxury, a unique opportunity for the people of Mijas to enjoy his talent.
