The elderly will meet again at their traditional dinner in honour of the Third Age at the Feria de Las Lagunas. The Senior Citizens and Fiestas Councillors look forward to bringing together all the seniors and celebrating this evening. Registration starts tomorrow, Tuesday 21st June, at the Senior Citizens' office, located at the Pensioners' Home in Las Lagunas.

The evening takes place on Thursday, the second official fair day, in María Zambrano's school courtyard. According to the Councillor responsible for the area, Tamara Vera (PSOE), "we are going to enjoy this long-awaited fair dinner with them all. It will take place on 30th June, with our fair already underway. All our seniors who would like to sign up for the traditional dinner will be able to do so from tomorrow, Tuesday, and throughout this week. So I invite the elderly to go with no worries".

1,200 residents will enjoy this dinner that includes live performances and the drawing election of the Grandfather and Grandmother of the Las Lagunas Fair. "Our elders deserve it. They deserve that we dress up and enjoy the day in a more festive atmosphere with them. We can finally start to celebrate all those events that, given the pandemic circumstances, we have not been able to celebrate", concludes Vera
