The Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia considers that the institution of this measure does not comply with the judgment of suitability or necessity

The Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia rejects the proposal of the Board to implement the COVID passport for nightlife venues. The High Court considers that it does not comply with the judgment of suitability or necessity to institute this measure, which, according to the judges, affects the "right to privacy and the right to non-discrimination".

As other higher courts have done, such as in Cantabria or the Canary Islands, Andalusia has opposed the requirement to present the COVID vaccination certificate implanted by the European Union or a PCR or negative antigen test in order to access the nightlife venues in the community.
The latest measure of the 'Junta de Andalucía' to contain the fifth wave of the health crisis is stopped before it is started, after the Andalusian High Court has rejected it, considering that it is “neither suitable nor necessary” in the current context of the pandemic. Therefore, the judges consider that if carried out, it could even pose an added risk, taking into account that even if they have been vaccinated or have had the disease, "they can still be potential transmitters" of the virus, they say.

Advancement in vaccination
The vaccination schedule continues to advance in our community and little by little we are reaching the last age group contemplated by the health authorities. Minors who have already reached the age of 12 can request an appointment through the ClicSalud + website, the app, the Salud Responde phone number, or at their own health centre. As they are minors, they must go to the vaccination centre accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. This group will be vaccinated in their corresponding health centres and not in the Vaccination modules enabled at Cortijo Don Elías in order to avoid crowds.
Since last August 6th, the entire target population of Andalusia can request an appointment for vaccination against COVID-19, that is, anyone over 12 years of age who has not yet been vaccinated.
